PAC UNIVERSITY, CITAM CHURCH AND CITAM CHAPLAINCY POWER BREAKFAST AT KASARANI SUB COUNTY POLICE STATION.

  Kasarani Sub County Police Headquarters hosted  PAC University, Citam Church and Citam Chaplaincy on Wednesday 13 March 2024. The collaboration between PAC University, Citam Church and Kasarani Police Station marks a new era in Kasarani Sub county.  The event was meant to welcome the new leadership at the Kasarani Police Division which included the Sub county Police Commander SSP Joseph Muriuki, Sub – County Criminal Investigations Officer Dr.Makonge and  Superintendent of Police Chaplain Rev.Chief Inspector Patrick W.Mathai. The Vice Chancellor Prof Dionysious Kiambi stated that PAC university is looking forward to engage more on community outreach, to develop and build Kasarani Community. VICE CHANCELLOR, PAC UNIVERSITY HOLDS A STUDENTS ADDRESS FORUM ON MARCH AT THE CONFERENCE HALL.

  The Vice Chancellor, Professor. Dionysious Kiambi had a meeting with the students both on Campus and online on 13 March 2024. The main agenda of the meeting was to create a University and Community where students can air out their grievances, suggestions and compliments freely.  Professor Dionysious Kiambi stated that, the University has made a five-year plan to recruit faculty members through advertisements. This will help to enhance the quality of service and the students experience on campus. Students with church affiliations were asked to support the university's marketing efforts by inviting them to their church services. Free discounts are being offered as part of the strategy. THE AFRICA SOCIETY OF EVANGELICAL THEOLOGY HOLDS THEIR 14 ANNUAL CONFERENCE AND AGM AT PAC UNIVERSITY.

  The 14th annual conference and AGM of the Africa Society of Evangelical Theology was held at Pac University in the Conference Hall 1 on 8th to 9th March 2024.  The conference's main topic was The Mission of God and God's Church: The Missiology in African Christianity. PAC University, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Stephen Mwaki, formally launched and spoke about the state of the church now and its goals for the future. Dr. Mary Kihuha presided over the gathering and invited our very own student Jashon and Obed to lead the assembly in worship and afterwards Dr. Mwangi then offered a prayer.       Dr. Gift Mtukwa, President of Asset, started out by discussing the situation of theology and the churches on our continent. PAC UNIVERSITY'S SCHOOL OF HUMANITIES AND SOCIAL SCIENCE HOLDS A CYBER SECURITY PUBLIC LECTURE FOR BOTH STAFF AND STUDENTS.

PAC University’s School of Humanities and Social Sciences held a cyber security public lecture for both students and staff on March 6, 2024, at the University Chapel. The public lecture was to teach both students and staff how to confront cyber insecurity in Kenya. The speaker, Justice David Mugo, Mwangi, explained the role of the government in controlling the use of technology and computer systems covered in the Computer Misuse and Cybercrime Act of 2018. The speaker, Justice David Mwangi, explained that the government faces challenges in confronting cyber security due to the speed of technology and the fact that technology is global, hence no boundaries. Justice Mwangi encouraged students to take courses on cyber security as Kenya suffers from the challenge of trained personnel in the Kenya police force in the field of cyber security. PAC UNIVERSITY'S LINDAH AKITELA SELECTED AS THE YOUTH REPRESENTATIVE AT THE UNITED NATIONS GENERAL ASSEMBLY(UNGA).

  PAC University's Chair of the Student Council, Ms Lindah Akitela, was feted by selected as one of the two Kenyan Youth Representatives at the UN Youth Delegates on 2, March 2024 at the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly(UNGA) in New York coming September.   This is after she had been selected as one of the twenty youth fellows representing Kenyan youth at the Africa United Nations Youth Delegates and Representatives Program. Lindah will prepare for the UNGA  by attending regional trainings in Kenya, Tanzania, South Sudan and Ethiopia. Ms. Lindah is expected to bring valuable insights into the youth affairs and articulate issues facing the Kenyan Youth.

PAC UNIVERSITY UNITED STUDENTS AND STAFF IN THRILLING ANNUAL SPORTS DAY EVENT

  PAC University held the annual sports day event  on 28, February 2024 within it's compound . Both students and staff engaged in the thrilling competitions for various games. The sports day event with aerobics then everyone proceeded to their various games. The first football match was between the YDP team and the PAC staff & alumni team, where the match came out with a draw of 3 goals. Both teams later proceeded to the penalties and the YDP emerged as winner. The sports day at PAC University was a big success, with participation from both staff and students. The dean of students, Dr. Josh Amwago, stole the show by playing in almost every game. The student eating competition, which demonstrated fierce rivalry and team spirit, was a popular favorite.  The  PAC University, the day of sportsmanship and community was unforgettable. 

PAC UNIVERSITY HOLDS THE INAUGURATUION CEREMONY OF THE NEW VICE CHANCELLOR

  PAC University witnessed a historic moment on 23, February, 2024 when prof. Kihika Kiambi  was officially installed as the new Vice Chancellor. The ceremony was  held in Citam Thika Road and attended by dignitaries, faculty, students, and alumni, marked the beginning of a new chapter for the esteemed institution. This installation ceremony happened after the former Vice chancellor Prof. Margaret Muthwii served her term from 2014-2024. Prof Kiambi brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the table, having served at the position of Dean of School of Leadership  and later as the  Dvc accademic affairs PAC University.    His  appointment was met with much enthusiasm from the PAC University community, with many expressing their hope for a brighter future under his leadership.
